Senior officials of the transport department have advised applicants to use SBI ePay for online payment for obtaining Learners Licence, Driving Licence and other certificates relating to their vehicles and not to fall prey to middlemen (Dalals).
The applicants can fill up details online at https:/parivahan.gov.in for e-pay and other services and they need not visit RTO office for submission of application, said Transport Commissioner Sanjeeb Kumar Panda.

After online filling of LL and DL forms, one has to pay the fee online. The online payment was not successful most of the time and the applicants had to visit the RTO office to make the payment and at this point some of them may be cheated by middlement.

Panda advised the applicants to use SBI ePay for online payment of fee as the success rate is very high and not to chose debit card/credit card option while selecting the payment mode.
SBI service charges pop up will be displayed as per RBI guideline. At present payment up to Rs 2000 by debit card does not attract any charge as per RBI directive.

Click outside the pop up to enter the captcha and proceed. In the next two pages check the amount of fees ave click confirm, then click make payment. Then SBI ePay will ask you to feed your credit card/ debit card or internet banking.

After entering the card details for payment, you make the online payment.
In case a receipt is not generated, one has to follow a few steps to get confirmation of his payment status.
The applicant has to open driving license online service page, to select verify pay status and input the application number and date of birth and click the verify button to see the payment status screen.
In case it shows the transaction is pending, the applicant has to click on select paid button to re-verify payment and then can get his receipt generated.

After successful payment, the applicant can select appointment date for LL test online without coming to RTO office or dalals.

One can reschedule the appointment as per own convenience online without any fee.On the day of the LL test, one can come with the documents for verification. He/she will have to pay the smart chip service fee and the biometrics will be recorded. After that he or she will appear for the online test.

After the test is successful, one can download the LL after some time. The whole process is transparent and online, said Panda. In the mean time, the department has opened temporary camps at BMC Zonal office, Nalco Chhak, BMC ward office, Saheed Nagar, BMC office, Kalpana from 18 to 21 September and they will remain open from 10 am to 5 pm.

The applicant will have to bring online application number, Aadhaar Card, education certificate, blood test certificate or blood group certificate to get LL certificate.
