Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 gets new rival from Kove

The middleweight adventure-touring segment is booming with new launches recently. While the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has been the focus for now, Chinese manufacturer Kove has also taken the wraps of its offering for the segment called the 510X.

The Kove 510X gets a styling similar to most other ADVs, specifically teh BMW R1250 GS. So there is a chunky front end with a muscular fuel tank, split seat setup and cross-spoke wheels. Underneath the bodywork, the Kove 510X uses a 498cc, parallel-twin engine that churns out close to 48bhp and 45Nm.

The motorcycle is underpinned with a steel tube framer with an aluminum swing arm. Suspension duties are taken care of by adjustable forks from KYB and an a fully-adjustable progressive monoshock. Well, the motorcycle tips oin at 205kg and offers a 20-litre fuel tank.
