RTO Offices in Meghalaya

Meghalaya Regional Transport Office manages vehicle and transport administration across the state’s hilly terrain and developing urban centers. ML RTO handles registration of new and pre-owned vehicles, issuance of learner’s and permanent driving licences, collection of motor vehicle tax, and maintenance of ownership and permit records. It also supervises vehicle fitness certification, regulates commercial transport activities, and enforces traffic rules in line with the Motor Vehicles Act. Through integration with national digital transport platforms, Meghalaya RTO provides online access to services such as RC verification, licence applications, registration status tracking, challan payments, and digital fee transactions, allowing vehicle owners to complete transport-related processes efficiently.
